This year Cases24 celebrated their first 10 years of operation. A reflection on the success of the business are numerous customers having traded for the last 10 years. This year Cases24 have reached out to Woodway UK, part of Bunzl, to celebrate, as their boxes were the first to be produced on Casemaker 1 in April 2009.

Children in Need Bake Sale
On the 14th of November Board24 Coalville hosted a Bake Sale to raise money for Children in Need. Members of staff came together to bake an assortment of treats for the office which were sold off for generous donations, to not only other staff members, but also to customers and suppliers who were visiting for a factory tour and our Lab Workshops.

Ben Nevis Charity Walk
On the 15th of September, Robert Struthers, who is a Corrugator Operator on the Larkhall Nightshift, successfully completed a walk up Ben Nevis in aid of the Marie Curie Charity.

Competition – Guess How Many Chocolate Balls
The Christmas period will soon be upon us, and in true festive spirit we’ve decided to have a little fun and giveaway a huge jar full of Christmas chocolate balls. All you have to do is guess how many balls are in the jar! Closest guess wins it.

Staff Profile – Clare Cook
Clare Cook is the Account Development Manager for Board24, based at Coalville. Clare is the dependable, imaginative contact for her customers, helping them to achieve what they require from Board24. Having started with Board24 at the beginning of 2019, Clare brought a significant amount of experience from the packaging sector, including owning her own sheet plant. Most recently, Clare joined Board24 after a successful eight years with DS Smith.

Saying Goodbye to Monkhouse
On the 30th of September, John Monkhouse Senior worked his last day at Board24 Preston. John joined Board24 Preston on the 18th November 1996 as a Mechanical Engineer and as an engineer, it would be fair to say his knowledge and experience on the MHI corrugator is second to none. Even though he only takes a size 9, they are very large boots to fill.

World Mental Health Day
On the 10th of October Board24 Coalville came together to help raise awareness and funds for World Mental Health Day. They took part in the campaign #HelloYellow and colleagues in the office wore something yellow to work that day and donated some money towards the cause.
