Logson Group, the UK’s fastest growing packaging group, which is comprised of Boxes and Packaging, Board24, Cases24 and inspirepac has excelled at this year’s Sunday Times Profit Track 100. The business was ranked in the top three in the coveted ‘Ones to Recognise’ category.
The Profit Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s private companies with the fastest growing profits based on the last three years of top accounts. The Profit Track 100 is compiled by Fast Track and is published as a supplement in The Sunday Times each April.
The 2012 awards dinner, held at The Savoy in London on 19th June, honoured companies on the latest league table, and presented them with a number of awards for excellence. The ‘Ones to Recognise’ category, sponsored by PwC, showcased a selection of companies that may not have achieved the minimum 42% annual growth over three years for the Profit Track 100, but have had or predict, a strong profit growth in the year ahead.
Ian Loggie, Logson joint owner said: “This really is a true mark of achievement for us. Being placed in the top three ‘Ones to Recognise’ category, having only launched Logson Group 18 months ago, is something that, as a business we can all by proud of. It indicates to us that our vision and business strategy to take a personal, consultative approach to meet our customers’ demands with quality and innovative products, is the correct one. We will continue to invest time to ensure that we develop in line with; our business objectives, the market and with our customers needs.”
Officially launched in January 2011, the Logson Group has expanded through both acquisition and significant organic growth to become the largest independent packaging group in the UK. The brand stands for excellent service standards, offering customers efficiency, flexibility, stability and reliability of supply. Collectively the Group employs over 900 people across its 19 dedicated sites in the UK. For more information visit www.logsongroup.com
