Board24 have recruited 19 new employees since January 2011 at their Coalville site in Leicester, despite difficult economic conditions. In today’s economic climate not many companies can boast that. While many companies are cutting staff or having to close Board24 continues to expand.
Board24 is based over 3 sites in Coalville, Preston and Larkhall and employs 267 staff in total.
Board24 is the largest sheet feeder in the UK and keeps on developing its business as it takes on more staff. The company continues to grow as it forms strong relations with key customers, by striving to provide comprehensive customer support.
Richard McBride, Board24, Managing Director, says: “We took a decision at the start of the downturn to continue investing in our business”.
“We have recruited a significant number of new people and invested in our operations to make sure we continue to deliver quality and value to our customers.”
Alongside these new recruits, we have also taken on five apprentices. The five apprenticeships are all based at the company’s manufacturing sites in Coalville, Preston and Larkhall.
“Apprenticeships are a crucial process for a company like ours, said Board24’s Managing Director Richard McBride “We have skilled staff that have been with us for a long time, and their skills take years to acquire and develop. It is important to us that the investment in skills is an ongoing process. We are delighted by the promising progress being shown by these young apprentices.”
