Board24 Coalville employee Zach Jurkowski has been awarded an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Management through Loughborough College. Zach has been working for Board24 for over six years as a casemaker lead hand. He looks after a team of three on a daily basis, but also oversees a team of thirty four in the absence of the conversion manager.
The course has enhanced Zach’s team leader skills in order to improve his key responsibilities of work area safety, prioritisation of work and achieving budgeted targets of production uptime, speed and casemaker waste.
A number of modules were completed including;

- Plan, Allocate and Monitor Work of a Team
- Manage Risk in Own Area of Responsibility
