Board24 is pleased to announce that for the 9th consecutive year the Preston site has achieved Class AA status BRC accreditation in recent audits, which is the highest achievable grade.
The BRC standard is recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), a program that aims to harmonise international food safety related standards with the support of the world’s top retailers, food and packaging manufacturers. GFSI recognition means you can use the BRC global standard to meet the requirements of these major players under a single, internationally recognised food safety management system.
This standard provides our customers, both existing and potential, with complete peace of mind that our sheet board is manufactured to the highest possible standards and comes from an exceptionally well maintained manufacturing plant.
Eric Marshall, Preston’s Operations Director, commented; “Even though there have been some huge changes at the Preston site and new members of the BRC auditing Team; Preston has achieved another “AA” status accreditation from BRC. The dedication of all the auditing team has made this possible, especially the hard work of our BRC Manager, Mick Walsh and Deputy Manager, John O’Hare. This is our 9th year of accreditation.”
