Board24 have sponsored local youth football team Bardon Eagles for two years and after last season was cut short due to Covid-19, we are pleased to announce Board24 have agreed to sponsor them for another year. Not only that, but Board24 have agreed to donate the much needed sanitiser and sanitising equipment to ensure that they can return to their training as safely as possible.
As you know the UK is currently trying to adjust to social distancing conditions and discovering what our new ‘normal’ is likely to involve. While shops and high streets are putting up signs reminding pedestrians about social distancing rules, here at Board24 we are also putting rules in place for our new ‘normal’.
Cases24 celebrated it’s 10 year anniversary last year and has recently risen the bar on their Latitude flexo folder gluer. Latitude Machinery Corp has confirmed that Cases24 has set a world record for cases produced on a Latitude machine in a 24-hour period. Cases24, which is part of the Logson Group, produced 197,000 boxes in one day on its PP1025 Quick Set flexo folder gluer. Cases24 recorded this performance on 5th June 2020.
Our latest Staff Profile focusses on Customer Service Administrator, Nicky Bulmer, who has worked at Board24, Preston for over 16 years. Nicky has a vast experience in various customer service and administration roles which she says contributed to her confidence and skill set to be able to provide the very best customer service for Board24 customers.
As technology develops, every year we are looking for the next innovation, and when you look to the future you might imagine flying cars and floating cities. But what if, instead, our future was a little more recyclable? Corrugated packaging is fulfilling the desire for materials to be recyclable, with a low environmental impact and reusable.

During our time in lockdown, some have tried to discover new ways of keeping themselves entertained. Whether it is learning a new skill, getting fit, or competing to see how many cookies you can fit inside your mouth at once. One member of the Board24 team refused to sit idle during lockdown and has published her first book.
A recent European survey has discovered that paper-based packaging, like corrugated board, is preferred for packaging choices as more people become conscious of making better choices for the environment.
