Elaine has been with Board24 for 20 years working within the Customer Services Team and can always be relied upon to keep everyone in the office in good spirits. Elaine makes a great first impression on all customers and always offers service with a smile.

The business has grown significantly over the years and Elaine has been a part of that journey, helping to grow and expand both new and existing customer accounts. Elaine liaises very closely with Board24’s customers, which over time has developed into excellent working relationships, to the point where some contacts feel like old friends.

One thing she has appreciated during her time at Board24, is the consistency and management style of the senior team who pull everyone together as one team, making them feel valued and trusted as individuals, which in turn gives the team the motivation to give the business their full commitment. Elaine enjoys working as part of the team and aims to provide a high level of customer service and building a rapport with all customers’ whether they are small or large.

Some customer relationships have existed for a number of years, allowing customers to feel confident their requests are handled promptly and efficiently. Elaine processes orders from quotation through to delivery; ensuring customers are kept up to date with their orders and more importantly ensuring customers have the right products in the right place at the right time.

She’s built up excellent relationships with our customers and they can always feel confident that their requests will be handled quickly and efficiently. Elaine has also gained valuable knowledge and experience in other aspects of the business, as the Customer Services team plan the daily transport schedules and handle all purchase orders for the Larkhall site.”

Outside of work Elaine spends her time with husband Keith and 11 year old son Aidan, who keeps her busy with a keen interest in football, often spending her weekends braving the weather and cheering on the side lines. Like in her working life, Elaine enjoys being part of a team and plays netball with a local team, whilst also keeping fit with gym classes.
