We are delighted to share that Laura Stanaway has passed her Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship. Laura joined Board24 in June 2021 and works with the Business Development Team at Coalville, supporting Cases24. We will continue to support Laura’s development in her new role as Business Development Administrator starting in January.

As a group, Board24 has 7 Apprentices, and we are committed to growing our investment in Apprenticeships.

In Engineering we have at Coalville, Brandon Bobbin (pictured) completing the Engineering Technician Level 3 and Mackenzie Fieldsend completing Electrotechnical Level 3, who are supported by The SMB Group and we are busy recruiting for a third one; at Preston, Dean Hall who is completing the Engineering Technician Level 3 with Training 2000. We will be looking to increase the number of Engineering Apprentices at all sites to help with recruitment due to a national skills shortage.

In Customer Services at Coalville, we have: Jodie Boyce and Katie Doherty both studying for Business Administration Apprenticeships with Loughborough College. Also, at Coalville we have a Team Leader, Kelvin Egan, completing Team Leader/Supervisor Level 3 also with Loughborough College.

As part of our focus on colleague development we are looking to trial Apprenticeships in Production with a Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship for current colleagues working with Training Provider GFTS and potentially recruiting new Apprentices too.
