Board24 is pleased to support employees Debbie Bobbin and Emma Appleby who have raised an amazing £1,222 for Cancer Research UK by participating in the Race for Life 10k, last Sunday at Victoria Park, Leicester.

The female duo swapped their calculators for trainers to raise money for Cancer Research UK, which was supported by Board24 colleagues who sponsored Debbie and Emma.

Race for Life is the UK’s largest women-only fundraising event organised by Cancer Research UK and there are almost 300 Race for Life events around the UK each year. These women-only fundraising events involve running, jogging, walking, skipping or dancing a 5k or 10k course and raising sponsorship money to help find a cure for some 200 types of cancer.

Debbie, commented; “this is a worthwhile cause as it is one that is close to peoples own hearts as we all know someone who has been affected by cancer.”
