Long time Board24 employee Customer Services Administrator, Debbie Newbold has been with the company 24 years. Debbie started out her career with Board24 working in sales administration and reception, and has since undertaken a number of different roles in sales, transport and dispatch as her career has developed and taken on new challenges.

Now working primarily for the cases part of the business (Cases24) Debbie enjoys the diversity every day brings. With Cases24 being the relatively new area of the business, she has seen this part of the company develop over time and has developed strong working relationships with her customers.

Some customer relationships have existed since the beginning, enabling customers to feel confident their requests are handled without a second thought. Development of the customer accounts has been of particular interest, treating each new case specification as a project seeing it through from quotation to delivery. Quite often involving three colours, die cutting and specific palletisation. The experience built over the last 24 years has made Debbie a reliable, trustworthy and friendly colleague.

Debbie had a brief period away from the business when she had her daughter Lucy (who is her world), but has certainly found a home amongst the customer services team, with whom she gets along with very well. Like most of the customer services team, she particularly likes the day to day contact with her customers, I think it is fair to say she likes a good chat and will help anyone when they need it.

Debbie commented; “It is a nice company to work for and I enjoy working within the customer service department, the team are a friendly bunch, with plenty of banter (not to mention the tea and cake), and there is always support when needed.”

These are certainly a way to unwind after a day in the office, an excitable new puppy and a teenage daughter. Not to mention her husband, Board24 Head Planner, who can cause her a few headaches as they sit within the same office!
