Following on from our win at the Made in the Midlands Awards in the Manufacturing Future Talent category our team was delighted to attend the Made in the UK awards last week as finalists.
Joined by colleagues from The Cardboard Box Company who were shortlisted in the same category and Apprentice of the Year (Laiten Scholes), the team enjoyed an evening celebrating their achievements and all that is great about UK manufacturing businesses.
Alex Morris, Managing Director, Board24 Coalville commented; “Whilst we may not have won on the evening I was still incredibly proud to have made it to the UK final and of Reggie Willars and Alex Hill to have made it to the regional finals as Apprentice of the Year.
“We have a robust and hugely productive apprenticeship scheme that is delivering great successes for our people and the business alike and to have this recognised is most pleasing.
“The next twelve months will see even greater investment in our people, and we shall look forward to sharing our activities and future success in the months ahead.
“Finally, very best wishes to all finalist and winners – let’s keep working hard to drive prosperity for UK manufacturing across all industry sectors.”
