Paul Elliott is our Conversion Manager at Cases24 and has been with the business for 12 years although he has been in packaging for most of his career.
During that time Paul has worked as a machine operative, team leader, production and despatch manager before he joined our team in his current role.
Day to day Paul has overall responsibility for the case maker operations at our Coalville site and this includes a huge range of tasks to ensure production is seamless and efficient.
Key responsibilities include operative and team leader management, health and safety and HR requirements, review of new job specs, maintenance schedules, customer visits and technical support, strategic projects and recruitment of new team members.
When asked about his role Paul said: “I have worked in the industry for 40 years and enjoy coaching and passing on knowledge to new operatives and seeing them develop into confident competent operators.
“Cardboard does not always seem an attractive option for younger people but with constant changes and innovation in production techniques; to keep up with customer expectations, the industry can stir the interest of the next generation.
“Helping customers overcome issues whether that be technical information or onsite support is something I enjoy, I have also enjoyed seeing the cases business grow over the past twelve years with the investment of new machinery.”
