Main Job Responsibilities:
Health & Safety:
To take responsibility for the health & safety of all team members and site.
To ensure the team follows all of the Health and Safety regulations respective for the specific workstation as well as the general company requirements in this area
To ensure the team report any accidents, hazards and near misses as well as faulty equipment
To encourage the team to identify risks within their own working areas.
To assess and record all team members activity ensuring all work is being carried out as per the R/A and SSOW.
To encourage and support the team in taking actions to minimise or eliminate risks.
The team concept is Board24’s way of getting all team members involved in their performance.
Organisation of daily and weekly team activity
Team attendance & time keeping (including return to work interviews)
Team discipline (including counselling and discipline level 1 & 2)
To set team targets of performance.
Quality of team workmanship
Team delivery performance to customer
Have a flexible approach to working overtime to suit the needs of the business.
Elimination of waste within the team
To ensure the team has good communication processes in place.
To encourage and facilitate continuous improvement activities within the team.
To work closely with support departments ensuring the team gets the necessary help to achieve its targets.
To audit adherence to, and improvement of, standard operations.
To audit the recording and displaying of relevant key performance indicators
To encourage team participation in routine preventative maintenance activities and fault finding.
Team supervision – supporting & encouraging the team members in developing skills:
You will approach your work and participation in the team with a positive attitude. Team leaders are a role model of the behaviour and leadership we wish to see in Board24. Negative attitudes are counterproductive and have no place in our business.
Shift Working. To be confirmed – Days / Mornings / Afternoons dependant on the needs of the business – shift allowance payable. In addition, contracted paid overtime of 40 x 12hr shifts per annum.
