At the start of the year Board24 Coalville launched and hosted its first Health and Wellbeing Steering Group. The aim of the group is to facilitate and promote stress and wellbeing initiatives, looking at ways which the business can develop ideas to improve staff mental health and wellbeing.

As part of the Wellbeing Group employees were asked for their help in designing a logo. Employees were given a very simple brief that the logo would use the company brand colours, but the rest of was up to them.

Dominic Drew, Board24 Managing Director and Emma Beer, Marketing Manager were the judges and after receiving a number of entries, there were two that stood out, so it was decided that the two designs would be merged to make the final design, both of the entrants were happy to see their designs be used.

The winners were Bryan Dennis (Production Operative – Team Leader) and Georgia Metcalfe (Business Development and Despatch Administrator), both of which not only got to see their design ideas become a reality, but also were awarded an Amazon gift voucher.

Dominic congratulated the pair; “Firstly, I would like to thank you both for you time and effort in the development of the ‘Board 24 – Health and Wellbeing logo’. I did indeed see both your initial entries which led to the collaboration. I am extremely impressed with the outcome, it looks fantastic, you should both be very proud of this result – thank you so much.”
