Elaine Wilson, our Customer Services Manager at Eurocentral is a finalist at this year’s Women in Packaging Awards.

Elaine, who has worked at Board24 for almost 30 years, has been shortlisted in the Woman of the Year – Retailers and Manufacturers category.

Beginning her career when it was a pencil and paper to plan production schedules and deliveries Elaine has fond memories of how the factory operated then.

Fast forward to 2024 and Elaine played a huge part in moving the entire business from its site in Larkhall, to a purpose-built site in Eurocentral. The UK’s newest corrugator was installed and a whole new chapter began.

In her role as Customer Services Manager, Elaine oversees the administrative functions at Eurocentral which also includes organising transport to ensure board is delivered ontime to customers.

Her role involves chatting with the factory and FLT drivers to ensure seamless processes are adhered to maximising production efficiencies.
