Future proofing for the next generation

Board24 is celebrating some milestone anniversaries in the next twelve months highlighting the longevity of the business.

Within that are many members of the team who have years of valuable industry experience all of which contributes to the high standards of manufacturing we achieve across Board24 and Cases24.

As a business, we are investing heavily in what the future looks like as these long serving team members move onto new pastures.

Over the last few years our apprenticeship programme has seen almost 15 apprentices complete their training with us across engineering, customer services, finance, health and safety, production and HR.

A couple of our latest apprentices are Jake, who is undertaking his training in Continuous Improvement and Josh, at our Preston site, who is working in Customer Services.

Their workplace activities and learning are supported by a variety of colleges and training providers, who consolidate the knowledge they are gaining with legislative and technical requirements necessary to achieve the qualifications they are working towards in their respective fields.

We also have our first Graduate role, with another Josh joining us at our Coalville site working on projects across commercial and sales.

But it’s not just about the new starters. There has been significant training being undertaking by our team members with the Naturally High Performing training challenging mindsets and perceptions to drive individual and collective performance and question the status quo.

Claire Butler, Head of HR commented; “Investing in our people is equally important as investing in our manufacturing infrastructure and we have even more programmes to be rolled our later this year which will help our people to have the autonomy and confidence to carry out their roles to the businesses expected standards.

“Our newer recruits are all working very hard, learning their roles and the wider business and we are excited to see what they will achieve in their future careers with us.”
