The Board24 Team Leader leadership development programme has achieved some superb outcomes since starting in February 2023.

Delivered by our partner, Beyond Theory it provides practical people skills development which aligns with Board24 Values and the Board24 Leadership Definition.

In total, 24 Team Leaders have completed Phase 1 of 4 Modules covering Leadership styles, Team working, Managing self and Communication.

A couple of those who recently completed this are Liam Grundy and Phil Moss, both from Preston and William Kirkwood, Elaine Wilson and Jason Kirkwood from Eurocentral.

Another 11 have just started this program which is due to complete early next year.

Managers have commented about their Team leaders who have completed this program “that they are able to delegate more enabling their team to improve their skills and abilities, have more confidence and are better able to recognise how to motivate team members as individuals”

5 Team Leaders from Coalville (Mark Beardmore, Sam Wallace, Tom Jones, Bobby Woods and Pete Sparrow) have now successfully completed Phase 2 which consists of Customer Excellence, Coaching, Engaging Leader and Performance Management.

This will be a key focus of 2025 for the other 30 team leaders to complete.

In a recent review of Phase 2 the Team Leaders said “they had improved their communication skills, were able to complete 1:1s with confidence, were handling difficult conversations better and had improved customer contact and focus.”
