BHS CORRUGATOR TRAINING ON SCHEDULE

Share

Board24 opted for a 2.5m 400m/min BHS Corrugator as part of their ambitious £9 million growth plan at Preston at the end of last year. The project has been developing throughout the year and is on schedule for imminent completion. In preparation for the new corrugator going live, extensive training has been taking place

with the new operating crew to ensure they have all the required skills when the machine is fully operational.

BHS create high performance technology and are continually developing their products, alongside this they provide high standards for training to ensure after installation success.

For BHS, training is a part of the whole corrugator, providing a range of training options to various levels of competence by experienced and expert trainers to make our employees and corrugator high performers.

Having highly trained staff provides a number of benefits; motivated personnel, ability to take full advantage of our equipment to its maximum potential, higher productivity, fewer errors and faster problem exclusion.

Advantages of BHS Training;

  • Transfer of useful expert knowledge, machine and maintenance competence
  • Tailored training content specific to the needs of Board24
  • Practical hands on exercises
  • Onsite training on our own corrugator
  • Experience exchange with other professionals
  • Sustainable productivity, quality and availability improvement

Eric Marshall, Preston Operations Manager, comments; “In addition to the excellent team of operators we have recruited, we have the benefit of the BHS trainers, who will undoubtedly provide the necessary understanding to operate the machine to its full capability. The training is going better than expected, allowing us to anticipate having a highly skilled workforce.”
