Kevin Kirsch is our Board24 Corrugator Improvement Manager and has worked in the corrugated industry for 34 years.
He re-located from Cornwall around a year ago to join the company and before then he worked as a Corrugator Process Control Specialist helping to install the automated process control system, input optimum control settings and train the operators at different corrugator sites around the world.
Now, at Board24, his role is to optimise and improve the Board24 Corrugator Process Control settings and best practices, which will cover all three Board24 sites at Coalville, Larkhall and Preston, including facilitating the implementation of the Board24 OPC (Operational Process Control) initiative.
“Having worked within the corrugated industry it’s great to be able to pass on my experience and knowledge, and I look forward to working closely with everyone across the sites in the future to help optimise the corrugator process settings and best practices.
“It’s been a great 12 months and the culture in the business is fantastic – I’ve been made to feel incredibly welcome and part of a family rather than being ‘one of many’ within a large corporation.”
Dominic Drew, Group Managing Director, added; “Kevin has been a great addition to our team and his personable nature and extensive corrugated knowledge has already seen him make a real difference.”
When Kevin is not completely immersed in the corrugated world, he loves sport and was a keen footballer, cricketer, and snooker player in his younger days. Now, he’ll watch almost any sport, but particularly football and for his sins is a West Ham United fan!
He is happily married to his wife Jackie for 27 years and has one daughter who lives in Singapore.
