James Taylor has joined the team as our Finance Director, replacing Dan McConnell who was promoted to Group Finance Director at our parent company, Logson Group.

James has spent his entire career in finance and to date earned both his AAT and CIMA qualifications.

His first job was in the purchase ledger department of a heavy machinery manufacturer, before moving into food manufacturing. However, most of his career has been in retail, where he has held various senior positions.

This is his first role in the corrugated packaging industry.

James commented; “I joined Board24 as Finance Director because I felt a strong alignment between the company’s culture and my values. It was a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the businesses ongoing and future success and so far, I am really enjoying the challenge”

As Finance Director, James’ primary responsibility is to help shape the financial direction of the business, ensuring its financial stability, supporting sustainable growth, and managing risks while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
