Team leaders at our Preston and Eurocentral sites have completed another phase of their Leadership Development training.

John Mooney and Billy Napier from Eurocentral received their certificates from Group Managing Director, Frank Hay. Three engineering team leaders, Mark Addison, Andrew Parson and Tom Catterall from Preston completed the first phase of their Leadership Development Programme and received their certificates from Steve Korab, Engineering Manager at Preston.

Claire Butler, Head of HR commented; “We are very proud of the robust strategy we have in place to develop and support our team leaders in their supervisory roles, and this programme has been tried and tested in the last few years.

“Well done to our latest colleagues for their efforts and enthusiasm towards this training and how they deliver what they have learnt within their day-to-day roles.”

The Leadership Development Programme, which started in 2022, increases knowledge, skills and confidence to help lead and manage teams. Topics covered within the course include Leadership Behaviours, Managing Self, Team Building and Communication Skills.

To date over 30 colleagues have participated across a range of team leader roles in the business.

Claire concluded; “Learning how to develop and guide a team is a key skill for our team leaders and it is important we train and support them so they excel in their roles.”
