Speaking of the news, Claire Butler, Head of HR, Board24 commented; “This is fantastic news for Tia, Laura and the wider Board24 team – what a superb accolade to have made it this far. We offer Tia and Laura our warmest congratulations and wish them lots of luck for the forthcoming awards dinner when the winners of each award will be announced.”

Hosted in conjunction with Packaging News, the awards invited nominations from a wide range of skill sets in the packaging industry. After an initial paper sift, those shortlisted were invited to submit a more detailed application as to why they would be a worthy winner of their award.

Over 200 finalists have been announced across 29 categories and recognise women in roles within all types of packaging.

With entries for some categories topping 500 it shows the part women play in all aspects of packaging from technical, to managerial to leadership roles, all of which make the packaging industry in the UK a great one to be part of.

Alex Morris, Managing Director at our Coalville site added; “This is brilliant news, and I am very proud of them both. We will be there on the evening to support Tia and Laura and celebrate their achievements, whatever the outcome on the evening.”
