We are very pleased to announce that our latest colleague training programme, Introduction to Cases, has been a huge success for those invited to take part in the pilot.
Taking place over three days, colleagues from Coalville, Preston and Eurocentral took part spending time in the Cases24 facility and were fantastically hands on, both in theory and practice, to upskill and empower them when chatting all things corrugated cases with our customers.
Four colleagues Kira Beszant, Christine Cetin, Elaine Wilson and Josh Samuel along with Terry Cooke, our Group Customer Service Manager explored:
- The full lifecycle of corrugated board—from manufacture to conversion into FEFCO-style cases
- CAD design insights with Ranjit from our in-house design team
- Artwork development with Hayley Stubbs from one of our key suppliers
- Board grades and flute types, expertly explained by Kelly Schofield
- Real-time machine operation, supervised by Kelvin Egan , as each participant took a turn on the case makers
Terry commented; “This initiative reflects our commitment to continuous learning and delivering exceptional service to our customers. We’re now reviewing feedback to shape the next phase of this training when more colleagues will be able to benefit.
“As with any pilot training course there were things that could be adjusted to make it even better, however we know this course will give the business greater agility to support our customers and empower our teams in their decision-making process!”
This is one of our latest training initiatives to upskill our team giving them the knowledge and confidence to excel in their roles.
Our Cases24 team operates four casemakers at our Coalville site which manufactures a wide range of FEFCO code boxes with up to and including three colour print options.
