A great team from our Preston site has completed their annual charity bike and have already surpassed their initial target by raising a superb total of £1880!

Wayne Potter corralled the troops once again and this year he was joined by colleagues Des Taylor, Phil Flanagan and Daniel Harezga.

The charity challenge saw them tackle two separate rides The Three Swans Route and Jade’s Bag Route.

The first started in Selby, North Yorkshire and was 110km long with a 185m elevation. The latter, which started from the Board24 site in Preston, was a little shorter at 80km but had much more elevation at 1110m. Both were mainly on cycle tracks however the challenge was a still a tough one to undertake.

Wayne Potter commented; “This is a charity which we support at Preston and one which really does mean something to us. The four of us mostly enjoyed the rides and our thanks go to everyone who donated, the business for supporting, and W&R Barnett for matching the amount we raised.”

Jade’s Bags Charity supports vulnerable individuals and families across Preston and Lancashire with food parcels, essential packs, baby items, clothing and practical support during times of hardship, crisis and financial difficulty.

Their Just Giving Page is still open for last minute donation so if you are able to help they would be rather chuffed! – https://www.justgiving.com/page/wayne-potter-1?utm_medium=FA&utm_source=CL
