EcoVadis accreditation supports customer goals
We are pleased to announce that our inaugural accreditation under the EcoVadis scheme has resulted in us reaching the ‘Committed’ standard, a fantastic achievement for a first audit above the average for year one.
This shows we represent ‘Good’ performance in the EcoVadis methodology.
2025 Recognition Award winners announced
Once again it has been a complete pleasure for our team to read the nominations for our 2025 Recognition Awards.
This is where our colleagues nominate each other, recognising those team members who uphold our company values and make an extra special, positive contribution to the business.
Awarded across all three sites, Coalville, Preston and Eurocentral, 2024’s worthy winners were presented with a certificate engraved glass award and gift vouchers.

New team members join our Preston Team
It’s a very warm welcome to the latest members of our Preston team – Jade Parr, HR co-ordinator and Josh Samuel, Customer Services Apprentice.
Jade joins the team from a previous role in HR and will support the business with recruitment, managing employee records, assisting with providing internal communications to the wider business, handling day to day HR queries, ensuring compliance with policies and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Pilot training programme a huge success for our team
We are very pleased to announce that our latest colleague training programme, Introduction to Cases, has been a huge success for those invited to take part in the pilot.
Taking place over three days, colleagues from Coalville, Preston and Eurocentral took part spending time in the Cases24 facility and were fantastically hands on, both in theory and practice, to upskill and empower them when chatting all things corrugated cases with our customers
Celebrating 25 years of service
At this time of year, we always recognise significant work anniversaries for some of our longest serving team members.
This year we had a few at Preston, and one at Coalville, and between them they had clocked up over 150 years of service having all joined the respective businesses at some time in 2000.
The importance of paper sourcing
Paper is our largest and most important purchase, and we currently source c.240,000 tonnes of paper each year.
Our Group Procurement Director, Bernice Andrew, explains the pivotal part we play in the UK corrugated manufacturing sector and how sourcing paper is critical to this.
Paper is the foundation of our manufacturing operations and securing the right raw material at the right time positions us as one of the major paper consumers in the UK. It allows us to support our customers with their exact requirements across a wide range of board grades and be efficient in our production and supply chains.
Meet our Team – Valeria Articolo
Valeria is our Payroll Manager and is the person who makes sure all the salaries are paid on time and correctly each month.
She joined our team in the summer of 2024 and is based at our Coalville site, although has responsibility for payroll across all three of our sites.
