Long standing team member receives industry award
A long serving member of our team, Kelly Schofield, has received a recognition award from one of our customers, Macfarlane Packaging.
Kelly, who has been with Board24 for 27 years, recently moved into a new role as Capacity Manager Co-ordinator and received the award for Outstanding Individual at the Macfarlane Packaging 2025 Supplier Awards.

Coalville team makes generous donation to local school on World Book Day
Our Coalville team recently donated £500 to Ellistown Community Primary School, just minutes’ walk from the business, as the children celebrated World Book Day with a cosy day.
Members of the team, Kelly and Debbie, popped along to make the donation and chat with some of the children about their love of reading and their favourite stories including Kelly’s favourite children’s book Kiss Goodnight which she read every single night for two years to her youngest child!
A warm welcome to Deborah Fulton
Deborah Fulton recently joined the team as Head of Systems Development and brings 26 years of experience in the corrugated sector, most recently serving as Head of Business Systems at VPK UK&IE.
Senior team changes for a busy year ahead
As we prepare for another year of growth, investment and increased market representation changes have been made to our Senior Leadership Team.
To allow for continued commercial growth, Alex Morris, Managing Director of our Coalville site has moved to the role of Group Commercial Director. Alex’s experience as MD, and as Sales and Marketing Director prior to that, means he has the knowledge and skills to deliver a positive impact for the business in the newly created role.
Apprentices playing their part in the future of our business
As National Apprenticeship Week gets underway, we thought it pertinent to celebrate our past and present apprentices and the way that Board24 supports them to achieve their very best potential.
Apprenticeships were introduced to Board24 in 2022 and since then we have had many apprentices, some of whom are still completing their qualifications, and many who have successfully completed the training schemes we offered them to become fully qualified members of our team.
EcoVadis accreditation supports customer goals
We are pleased to announce that our inaugural accreditation under the EcoVadis scheme has resulted in us reaching the ‘Committed’ standard, a fantastic achievement for a first audit above the average for year one.
This shows we represent ‘Good’ performance in the EcoVadis methodology.

Once again it has been a complete pleasure for our team to read the nominations for our 2025 Recognition Awards.
This is where our colleagues nominate each other, recognising those team members who uphold our company values and make an extra special, positive contribution to the business.
Awarded across all three sites, Coalville, Preston and Eurocentral, 2024’s worthy winners were presented with a certificate engraved glass award and gift vouchers.
