H&S Advisor for the Coalville Site

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to build a career in health and safety within Board24. We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to develop into the role of Health and Safety Advisor for the Coalville site.

The successful candidate will be someone who:

• has an engaging approach and can motivate others
• is enthusiastic and self-motivated
• is interested in learning and continued professional development
• has demonstrated a strong interest in health and safety in a previous role
• has good IT skills

The Health and Safety Advisor plays an important role in helping the Coalville leadership team to implement our Make It Safe Vision. The job role will include some of the following responsibilities: –

• Ensuring risk assessments and safe systems of work are current and briefed to the relevant staff.
• Assisting the site management team in accident investigation.
• Co-ordinating and carrying out safety audits.
• Maintaining the AssessNet system
• Delivering training e.g. Inductions
• Implementing and upkeep of the BRC-IOP hygiene standard.
• Co-ordinating and carrying out BRC-IOP audits.
• Developing and maintaining a positive culture within the site.

The successful candidate will be supported to achieve their NEBOSH Certificate so H&S qualifications are not required to apply.
