Cases24 is a trade only case supplier and offers glued cases in a variety of specifications to trade customers across the UK. Cases24 is the first company in the UK corrugated industry to operate four Latitude casemakers and it works out of Board24’s Coalville site.

The Latitude PP1025 Quick Set flexo folder gluer, known as Casemaker 4 was installed at Cases24 in the spring of 2019 and was a central focus of the company’s 10-year anniversary celebrations. The line includes a Dücker pre-feeder and Dücker Corrpal palletising line.

Casemaker 4 has transformed Cases24 ability to produce large cases at conversion speeds of up to 300 cases per minute. This is made possible by the state of the art robotic pre-feeder. The Dücker robot makes easy work of sheet board that can be up to 1200mm wide and 2500mm long. Earlier machines would rely solely on manual feeding, which is physically taxing and time consuming, slowing the process.

Casemaker 4 has a rapid pre-set system which reduces machine down time, requiring as little as 4 minutes when changing between orders. It can produce cases containing 3 colours, which can also integrate a die cut when required. This helps ensure maximum uptime and the best quality, enhancing cases offering for customers.

Casemaker 4 has a fully automated pallet stacking system which is essential to keep up with the machines high running speeds. Due to casemaker 4s ability to produce high volume of cases, further investment has been undertaken in 2021. The installation of hundreds of meters of new state of the art conveyor system; from the market leaders: Dücker group with a high-speed double pallet inserter and an equally swift palletising robot which has further increasde their service offering to their valued customer.
